FCP 110 300 win mag load

Guys new into reloading and searching for a good load for a 300 win mag. so far struck out best factory ammo i have shoot has been federal hunting ammo. 178 grain with lead tip gave 1moa. my fp10 in 308 does sub moa with nosler custom. any ideas.

H-4831-72.0 grains, Sierra 180btsp, Fed or win mag. rifle primer,2950fps deadly. Shoots 1/2 or less for 3 shot groups, every tuned .300 win mag I have shot it in, about 12 of them, 1/2 with sporter barrels. MY buddy took a nice 6x6 in Wyoming a few years ago with it, 450 yds, put 2 in the shoulder abou 4 inhes apart. A lot of deer, bear and boars have fell to this load in folks I built the guns for.

I have had good results with sierra bullets and H4831 in more than one rifle, my 300 WM prefers the flat base 180 gr pro hunter, but my buddy Dennis has a 300 H&H that prefers the boat tailed 180 gr game king, try them both and see what your rifle likes best.

berger 230 grain hybrids. it was designed for the 300wm. dont have one not sure if 4831sc or h1000 would b better. Need a 10 twist to stabilize.

worked up some 230 grain bergers. .15 off lands and 66 grains of 4831sc. will post the results.

lookin forward to the results, jave been contemplating a 309 wm build since the 230's came out.

so 230 with 66 grains of powder 4831sc shot .85 at 100 yards. looking to tweek it a little. didnt have as much thud as i thought it would. still hoping it gets better first two where almost on top of each other third was off to the side think i pulled.

have you had a chance to stretch the lega out on those 230's yet? what kind of MV's you getting? How much drop at 1000?

Farthest I have shot.doc far has only been 300. About inch and half. Was.net a good day at the range to many stupid people around.
