Going to build a 6.5 creedmoor/long range rig... are the target actions really more accurate than the 10fp actions?
Do yourself a favor and shop around over at SSS. Jim and Lisa are on our side, evidently.
When you order from them have them T&T the SS Target action before they send it to you. That will save you not only time but money. I speak from pleasant experience. Good luck.

Probably not.
The honest answer is that the action doesn't contribute THAT much.
For MOST of the target shooters, the barrel is the important part.

But the Target Action IS a stiffer than 10/110 actions and a more rigid action means less action flex. Will it help with accuracy? Shorter barrels, maybe not, longer barrels, probably so. Either way, if you are buying an action why not buy the one that is stiffer?
