223to 6mmbr conversion?

I was wondering if it is possible to convert a savage model 12 in .223 to 6mm BR. I know that the barrel can be swapped out and likely the bolt head as well, but will the existing blind mag handle the thicker case? Anyone tried it? ???

The 6 BR magazine is nothing more than a .223 mag with the lips tweaked.
