Are you guys still putting the spring washer between the bolt face and the baffle?
No, all of mine are between the baffle and the bolt body. These are both on new rifle i have bought(as they came from Savage) and also on guns I have ripped apart and re-done.

I'm not sure, a while back guys were do'in this. ??? I was wondering why also.
Creating a gap between the bolt head and baffle keeps the grease from being wiped off. You all grease your bolt lugs, don't ya?
I'm still looking for the grease zerk....
