Re: B&C stock choice help...
I have 3 of the duramax, love them. What takes so long to bed in a new stock, shouldnt take over 20minutes to make sure recoil lug is floating, put on some past wax and spray all metal with Pam, then mix up enough bedding to fill the voids around the front of the action, and tighten down! It has helped everyone of mine, I would definitley do this and save ammo, zero it once and be done man.
Re: B&C stock choice help...
Well, I've never done it before, plus I need to route some out of the stock, install, trim and bed the pillars, etc....
I like to be thorough, so knowing me, it would take a lot longer than it needs to. I eventually want the B&C stock anyway as I want a rugged hunting setup, so why postpone the inevitable.
Tony.
Re: B&C stock choice help...
The duramax comes with pillars installed, just skim bed over and around them, behind recoil lug, you are done! PM me and I can talk you thru it on my cell some weekend.
