New centerfeed action with old trigger

Hey guys,

I picked up a Savage 11 in 243 that has the newer 4.4" action with DBM but it has the older trigger. The safety is even the older safety. I was under the impression the newer CF DBM came out after the accutrigger. I bought it because the price was right. The gun was sold being presumed to be pre-owned but appears to be unfired. If anyone can share their thoughts but I just find it odd.

A lot of the package rifles are that way. There are many models that still come with the old trigger in DBM.
