I recently ordered this rifle but unfortunately I won't have it in my hands for about 6 - 7 months. I plan on changing the stock for a GRS berzerk and toping it with a Vortex viper pst 6-24x50 FFP. The purpose of the rifle will be deer and way out there targets. I hope I made a good choice.
Sounds like it will be a solid rifle when you finally get your hands on it.
I hope so Hotolds442 I'm really looking forward to getting it and having a play with it. Deer season starts on the 1st of September so hopefully I'll have her by then.
Why wait 6-7 months.

The importers for savage rifles into Ireland have gone out of business so I have to get it through the UK and the importers in the UK won't have the rifle for a few months. When it does get here the license process in Ireland takes at least another 3 months. We have no choice but sit and wait.
Ouch. It will be worth the wait. Have a Savage 10T in 308 that shoots awesome. Waiting on the stealth rifles to come out to see if the 6.5cm comes home with me or wait for the ashberry.Quote:
