A using bedding block?

S/A stock for L/A using bedding block?

Anybody tried using a bedding block like the Whidden V-block to bed a L/A in a S/A stock ?

I was thinking since the stock needs to be inletted for the block wouldn't this solve the action screw spacing issue ?
