Hey all. Does anyone know if a savage 12 FV 223 Varmint with internal mag will fit in a HS take off stock from a 10 FCP-HS DBM? Do I need to do anything else besides getting a 223 magazine? Thanks.

Thanks boiler. Im little confused. The HS stock off a 10FCP is DBM. Are you saying DBM frame for a 223 is different than a 308? I thought the only diff between the 2 would be the mag.Quote:

The stock may be inletted for DBM, but does it actually include the bottom metal with it? If so you simply need a magazine solution, if not then you'd need the steel DBM frame and a magazine.
