Has anyone modified a stock meant for a centerfire rifle to fit a muzzleloader? I picked one up because I thought it was a great idea, just not to fond of the stock. Thanks.

Yep! I took a standard factory Turkish walnut sporter stock that was offered on the old Model 14W's and put it on my ML-2. Had to open the barrel channel quite a bit and cut in a groove for the ramrod, but nothing too crazy or difficult.
Only note I'll make is that if the stock was originally inlet for a sporter barrel, opening the barrel channel can leave a very thin sliver of wood that can chip/break easily if you're not careful. For this reason I would avoid a laminate stock that was designed for a sporter barrel.
Here's mine.
