Well I pulled the trigger so to speak and have a 17hmr Mk II coming.
All they had was CCI tnt ammo in stock so I bought a box. I was hoping for some 17gr Vmax ammo
but they were out.
What is the most accurate ammo for this rifle ??
Thanks

each rifle will be different, my 93r17gv liked the 20gr tnt game loads but it shot the 17gr just fine. get a few different boxes and try them out it will be time well spent... ;D
Mine likes the TNT also but can still group around an inch at 100yds with just about any of it.
Steve
My 93 has only had Hornady's down the tube and will do an 1 3/4 inch 10 shot group at 200yds. ;D Dale
My 93R17BTVS likes the 17 grain. I like the bolt action 5 shot clip, because it takes her so long to reload it. ;D

Mine likes just about anything. i sighted it in with 20 grain hp's then went to the store to get more, went out hunting and had a skunk at 100 yards shot 5 times and missed. when i looked at the new box they were 17 grain polymer tips. :-[ next day shot a ground hog at 150 yards aimin 2 inches low lol. moral of the story, try to use the exact same ammo when you find what works best.
