There were no pillars in the one I got. Not hard to do, just remember, put the rear one in whole and then cut the resess.
Mine also did not come with them. Had to install my own. Like stated it's pretty easy.
I've owned a couple of these stocks and none of mine have come with pillars. Brian Brown.
sorry op, could I pls ask where do we get the pillars from? and do you have to drill to enlarge the hole for the pillars?
I too would like to know the best place to get pillars.Quote:

They have a threaded centered with two threaded caps that you can screw in or out to adjust the length. They were nice to work with. I went fancy and got a 9/16 forstner bit to do the drilling. Made life easy since they tend not to try and follow existing holes. You could of course us a paddle bit but it is best to fill the existing hole with a dowl first. Once you get the holes centered and the action screws centered in the pillars things go easy. One thing you should know going into it is you will have to trim the rear pillar to clear the trigger. Kinda sucks cutting half the pillar out you just installed but it has to be done.
Do the 110's and the 10's use the same size pillars and screws??
Noticed yesterday that Stocky's has a pillar sets, rear is pre-cut:$13 listed on the bottom of savage centerfeed stocks.
