The model 93 was never chambered in 22 LR, they were either 22 WMR or .17 HMR.
It special made for Dicks Sporting goods. That is the only place the you can get them.Ulus ;D
I really think you're confusing 22lr for 22wmr. The 93, AFAIK, has never been chambered for 22lr. Dicks sells special edition Mk II's and 64's, but I have never heard of or seen a 22lr 93. Dick's could have also mis-labelled it.
Also, it seems redundant to re-chamber a 93 for 22lr, when a Mk II is essentially the same rifle.
If one does exist, please post a pic of the rifle, and the chamber mark to verify it's 22lr.
My local Dicks is out and should have some in tomarrow and it is a 93.Savage does not list them.Becaues is sold at Dicks only.OD green Stock. Will post pic. when I get mine.
Shoot one today and it shoots about as well as my BTV.But better than my MKII-G. Ulus ;D
Look on Rimfire Central under Savage,The Dicks Havy Barrel with Acc Trigger
The only difference between a 93 and a MKII is the magazine system. It would make no sense what so ever to stamp a 22lr as a model 93.
The 93 in 22lr and the MKII use the same Mag.
Then it is essentially a MKII.
It is not special made. It is a misprint in the ad. The 93 and the Mark II are what is on special. If you look at the barrel on the .22LR it will say MarkII. I know this because I bought all three calibers, .17HMR, .22MAG and the .22LR.Quote:
