I was in a gun store Saturday and saw a m11 in 300 savage. I've tried finding it on Savage's site or the web and can't find it anywhere.
It had a blind box, no sights and birch stock. Cheap at $369.00

Did a google search and the M11 is the law enforcement series. But I dont think it was .300 savage caliber. More likely a .308

100% it was a 300 Sav.
My understanding is that they havnt chambered any models in .300 Savage in a long time. Thats why I said it may be a .308. If it is indeed an older rifle I think the asking price is a way to high. Especialy since you can get a Stevens (made by savage but not a shiney) for under $200 on sale occasionaly.

They did a special run of .300 sav in the model 14 line for an anniversary promotion. Are you sure it wasn't one of those? They were a lot pricier though.
