Trigger Reset
Rifle has been stored in our camper. No moisture and not excessive heat. Bolt was stored on a shelf next to the rifle. Just brought it home and when I cock the bolt the trigger does not move forward to reset. If I push on it with my finger it resets with absolutely minimum pressure. The receiver is in a Boyds stock and the trigger is a Timney. Never had a problem with them for the last couple years. Not sure what would cause this. I cleaned it snd put a little lube on it. Still doesn’t work. Thank you in advance for any and all thoughts on this.

Have you tried it with the stock removed? I'm wondering if the stock could have swelled ever so slightly and is causing the trigger to rub with just enough resistance. Or the trigger spring could have gone bad? If you've cleaned and lubed it, and nothing appears out of place, that's about all I could think it could be.

You might need to increase the trigger spring preload.

My bet is a stock problem.

One or the other. As said, test it OUT of the stock. That will quickly zero in on said problem.
