Hi,
I have a MK II FSS and I love it. I'm going to try my hand at squirrel hunting this fall and I'd like to see about a peep sight rather than straight open sights....is there a "bolt on" peep sight that you could recommend?

Williams Gun Sight makes one that bolts on to the groved reciever.
Here are some of the models: 5D-AG [70809], 5D-FG [70810] and FP-AG [14168], FP-GR [9683]. These models screw right on the reciever. You would have to shoot the rifle with them on to see if you need a differant front sight. If you do, you would need the wide series which isn't listed on the web sight, but in their catalog, unless you want to go to Fire sights which is listed on the web sight. The web sight is: WWW.Williamsgunsight.com. If the front of the barrell isn't drilled and tapped for a ramp or 3/8 dove tail this would have to be done for the front sight.
This is the model that doesn't have a grooved receiver...but only drilled/tapped holes for weaver mounts.
Dad, do any of the ones you mentioned fit to these stock weaver holes on top of the receiver?
Williams makes sights that fit many standard mounting holes (don't know if they have one for the MK II). NECG makes sights that fit a standard weaver base. Either of these may require a different front sight.
Check brownells or midwayusa.
thanks Eric..I'll check into those two options.
You might want to give Williams a call at 1-800-530-9028 and ask them.
