KEN FARRELL RINGS? - Looking for Experience with them
Been looking at everyone's 30MM scope rings.
I've decided on a Ken Farrell Base and noticed the Farrell rings in aluminum and steel.
Has anyone had experience with these rings?
Notice that the picture shows a milled slot in top. I would think they would want to have as much scope contact as possible.
Re: KEN FARRELL RINGS? - Looking for Experience with them
The Farrel rings use 4 screws in the top cap for 4 points of clamping instead of 2. The slot in the center relieves the distortion that can be induced by not having all 4 screws the exact same tension. Essentially it is like have a double top cap. All Farrell rings are built in matching pairs.

I use a set of Farrell rings and base and they are built like a stinkin bank vault.
I am really impressed with them.
