anyone?
All the rests I can think of are pretty pricey. A bipod and tail bag may be your best bet.
scissor type car jack
I was thinkin about the scissor jack idea. My step father has a nice Caldwell one with the adjustor I like alot just cant swing it right now
I have a farley, it is heavy!
I have ol all aluminum car jack my rx7
I am going to make one out of that. Sinclair sells the top end, mate that to a piece of aluminum, vooooooila.
something like this is what i was thinking

Purrrrrrfect, I don't have much experience with metal fab. But how hard will it be to take off the existing top off the jack and put in a piece of metal to attach the front bag to?
I read in another forum how a user used a door knob to turn the screw.
If u cant weld just bolt the piece on
A basic sandbag on the front fits all shaped forends well and is very stable. Hard to beat for the money.
Sportsman's Guide has a GuideGear adj. rest for $20. It's nothing fancy but does what it's made for. I had to expand one of the holes a touch though, the height bolt was binding due to the angled nut it screws into. But, for a full rest, $20 and a lil fab work is miniscule to a Caldwell Lead Sled...
