I am looking at building up a F/TR riffle out of a Stevens 200 action. I was wondering can you completely remove the mag from these so I wouldn't have to put a magwell in the stock?
Thanks

Why not just leave the mag box in place and put in a single shot follower from SharpShooterSupply?

I am doing the same thing. I had my 200 in a laminated thumbhole stock into which I had fitted the center-feed magazine. I didn't like how it performed. Now that I'm inletting a true F-class stock for it, I decided to get one of their single shot loading ramps. I glued it in with J B Weld. It was easy to do and fits great. I will fill in the magazine well in the thumbhole stock and use that for varmint hunting.
