I got 4 8 lb jugs of it awhile ago and sold 2 as I had a .308 then (sold that too). You want a slower powder w/ the 80's
Re: powder choices for 80 gr bullets (223)
youor like me Gacop i'm limited to 2 places here locally but there is a gun show this wekend and the couple from B'Ham come down that may have some in stock i will need to call them to see .may have to prepay for it but for me new barrel (2just picked up a shilen ss 30" 308 for a f-open gun ) so i want to try something new.
Re: powder choices for 80 gr bullets (223)
I stopped going to the local gun shows when it started to cost $10 just to get in the door and most tables had deer jerky and usless trinkets. The tables that did have guns thought they were gold plated and priced them accordingly. A few friends have told me that the shows have gotten a bit better so maybe I'll give em a try and see if Georgia Arms has a table. Good people for brass, primers, powder and bullets.

Think what you like, it works.
I have used RL15 and Varget as well. All three group the same. My current load is Varget, he said he could not get Varget.
