Model 10 Precision Carbine
Does anyone have any experience with this model?
I'm planning to pick up a new rifle early next year and this one caught my eye. I would go with the 223 version and it would be used exclusively for range shooting.
If I understand the accustock correctly then you would not bed the action with this one, correct?
Re: Model 10 Precision Carbine
I just finished an article on the exact same rifle you are looking at, it should be up on this site in the next couple of weeks. To read the articles you would have to be a member of the site.
In theory the accu-stock does not need bedded. It has a way of molding the frame to the action.

Sweet, I look forward to it.
I didn't realize I let my membership lapse, fixed it.
Re: Model 10 Precision Carbine
I have one in .308 and it does work very well. After you get it broken in, you will be able to see how it has bedded itself to the action. (when taken apart) It does help a lot with the forestock flex issue if you use a bipod. Another great idea from savage. blue
