hi all,,truth be told,,I'm a Benelli man to the core,,10 years ago in the middle of a Benelli barrage,a relative of mine GAVE me his uncles stevens 820b,,the uncle bought it new in 50,later on gave it to the nephew, then me,,didn't know a thing about it,so I researched it and learned about the 69rxl and the stevens 77e,plus other Savage models,I'm very glad to have learned about the Savage /Stevens firearms, its made more flxeible and appreciative of other firearms, and thats my story thanks,,Frankie http://www.hunt101.com/data/500/medium/IMG_13064.JPG
Did the RXL come with a heat shield or is that an add on?
its an add on,,looks cool, protects the barrel and fingers from damage/burns,the plastic ones are way better than the metal kind.

I merged your threads so they didn't take up the whole page, just keep adding onto this one if you want to add more.
