Thanks. Very interesting. What happened was the button was loose on the rod and once it tightened up that's when it started to turn. I worked in a hot and cold forging factory and we did some internal swaging to gears in several manufacturers transmissions. When the button or swage rod is loose it will do this. When changing out buttons the first 15-20 pieces are scraped as the angle rate could be wrong. Back then is the manufacturer found one bad part the whole order will be sent back and there are late fees that will be charged till the replacements are resupplied. So you make sure that everything is right.
