axis magazine fit
finally got my boyds prairie hunter for my axis and it looks great! one issue though, the magazine isnt working properly. the plastic "clip' on the magazine seems to not be catching. its off ever so slightly where i have to use a coin or something to get it to engage. anyone else ever have this problem and how did you fix it?

if it 's the same problem i had i filed off the edges where the bend is on the tab. this fixed the problem for me. doesn't take much, just round the edges a little.

Had the same problem. I beveled underneath the front edge of the plastic "slide out" piece on the stock rather than filing the magazine. Either way works.

did like yeas mentioned and shaved just a tiny bit off that slide out piece and it worked perfect! love this stock so much! thanks all!

I'd try taking a piece of round stock or even wood dowel the same size as the hole for the action screw in the plastic locking plate and tap it into place with a mallet to make sure it's fully seated. If that didn't work, I'd use the same round stock and mallet to tap the plastic plate out, make sure its channel is clear of obstructions, and then re-seat and glue the plate back in place.
