Mag Box and and follower? or are you doing single shot?
Don't plan on single shot. Not sure why I didn't think of that. and that should be it correct?

That's all I can think of
Front bolt baffle?
300 WSM to 223 with the same baffle. This is SA to SA so if a baffle is needed then please explain.

The .223 baffle has a leg to stop rearward movement of the bolt.
A 300wsm or .308 doesn't have the leg.
With the leg the bolt might not go back far enough to pick up out of the magazine.
Good call, I bought a whole bolt assembly so I forgot about the baffle
1. I'm not seeing what your talking about.
2. If this is a problem, whats the way to fix it when I convert?

I know about the leg you guys are talking about but....when I converted a 300WSM to 223, I didn't change the baffle and all is good. It's still a short action. The only ones that I have seen with the extended baffle are the older 110's for short action calibers. Maybe I am mistaken, if so please let me know.
Steve
I misunderstood what you said. Understand now.
stumpjumper400: I believe it shouldn't make a difference when going from a longer caliber to a short. But when doing to opposite it will stop the bold from traveling rearward far enough to pick up a longer case.

Anyone know how to remove the magazine box on the stagger feed?
Wood
The 110 with short action calibers and .223 & .204's have the legs.
At least on the ones I have. This may not hold true on all of them.
If yours doesn't have the leg all is good.
Hold the action with barrel up barrel and whack the mag box, just at the lip where it goes into the action.
Sort of pry out a bit with a large screwdriver, and hit the head of the screwdriver with a hammer.
It usually pops right out.

Well, I got it out. In two pieces. The front clip that holds it in cracked and broke off.
