Bought my 1st Savage this week.It is A Savage Axis .308 with Realtree Hardwood camo stock.I am a longtime deer hunter and hunt with rifles in Northern Michigan.I will use the Axis this fall.I love the finish of the gun.I am going to replace the trigger spring as soon as it gets here from ebay.Stock spring is too stiff.I will leave Bushnell scope on till I shoot rifle at range and go from there.I am partial to illuminated mil dot reticles.
