I'm looking for a synthetic hunting stock for my 7mm Rem Mag (stagger). Would like something that is better than Tupperware but doesn't weigh over 3#. Am I limited to the Bell & Carlson? Other ideas?

Just my $.02 but the factory synthetics shoot very well for me. Yeah you can push the barrel into the stock but under real hunting conditions like propping up on a tree rock or backpack I have never had a problem.
Thanks Jeep. I was kinda thinking the same way but wanted to test the water. Just a thought as I look for a factory stock, would an accustock work with an older stagger feed long action?
The hs precision is a good bet and is stiffer than the bell & Carlson.
Does HS Precision make a long action stock for savage 110's?
My personal favorite is the B&C Duramaxx. Sadly it was discontinued, so picking up a used one would be your only way to get one. If you can snag one off of the interweb used someplace that would be the ticket.
Hogue makes the rubberized stocks for Savage. I had one one time. They offer an aluminum bedded style similar to B&C's and HSP's. The one I had didn't have the bedding block. It was ok but no improvement, other than grip, over factory plastic.
It's hard to get a better stock for a SF 110 rifle than the B&C Medalist. Can accept lite weight to heavy barrels, available and fairly inexpensive.
Durramax is a great choice too but hard to find.
Manners and McMillan both make several designs for long actions. Pricey but well made and a lot of options. I just got a manners eh1 and I am very pleased.
