Hmmm... I thought the 4x4's were from Mossberg...
You have my curiousity going now!!
DK
They were a special run for one of the big retailers a few years ago. You can find one every now and then. Its easier just to get a 12 FV and have the barrel cut and recrowned. It will only run you $40-$50.
That is interesting. Sounds like a pretty cool little gun!!
DK
I have one in a .204. It shoots good, an honest .75 moa with the 39gr and usually better than that. It is noticably louder than anything with a 24 or 26 in barrel though. Not sure if the shorter barrel hurts velocity or not as we have not chronoed it. If you can find one cheap, I wouldn't be scared of it as you plan to use it as a 'truck gun' anyway.
I can get a new one for $467 Total ;D,sound like a good price?
JEFF
Yep, I'd buy it.
Look at the Stevens .223 truck gun at Academy for $229. Same gun, less accutrigger.Quote:

I was going to order the rifle today, and they were out of the .223 >:(.Just had it in a .204.My luck. :'(

I made one patterned like your talking about. Love it! Single shot action, .223 varmint contour 22". Shoots the Berger 70g bullets with H4895 into sub .50 groups with regularity.
