No the headspace on the AI should be .004 shorter than the parent round. I have read you can use the.223 go gauge for the .223AI no go.
That .004" gives the slight crush fit needed to get a good fireform.

The go gauge for the parent can be used as the no-go on the AI counter part. But u do need the actual AI go gauge for the chambering.
