Identification help on stevens pump .22
Hi, my second cousin is visiting from Maryland and he brought a stevens .22 pump that he wants to get rid of. I didn't see a model number on it but it has a heavy looking octagon barrel on it and I think it said SWG on the action. It said short, long and long rifle. Is this something that I should snatch, I'd say it's in fair condition. Thanks for any help.
Regards Dan
Re: Identification help on stevens pump .22
It's hard to say without a model number and/or pictures.
Most of the Savage/Stevens slide actions in fair condition are worth between $100 to $200.
It would be nice to have if it fires and cycles and all the parts are there.

Can't think of any Stevens with an octagon in a pump but it could be a Savage model 1903. The letters would have been SVG for "Savage"
