Question for those that have restocked with the boyd's JRS stock.
I am considering one of the boyd's JRS classics for my stevens 200. For those of you that have made this switch how much weight gain did you get. Thanks in advance.

A couple pounds more. What you also get is a nice stiff stock, that also absorbs recoil better than that tupperware. I installed a pachmeyer pad too.

Thank you. Wow 2 lbs is a lot more than I was expecting. I better rethink my whole project since I do like the relative light weight of the rifle as is.

I have used 3 JRS stocks on mostly Savage rifles and are happy with them. The 2 lbs difference is for the laminated stocks. Walnut wont be much heavier. Call them and ask about the $50 checkering they offer. They have a new design stock I like the looks of. I plan on 2 more stocks, one for a Savage and one for a Mauser.

2 pounds off your body will more than make up for the added weight and accuracy you will add to your rifle!
