Nice mag to use.
Been waiting for this for some time. Had to do some minor trimming of the feedlips, but I like that, as it results in a perfect fit. Awesome mag. And it will fit cartridges up to 2.86". Good news for a reloader like me. Hey, its Magpul, so I knew it would be good. (I started using Pmags, before they became famous!)

Just a little trimming, and you can see where the action rails are "kissing" the feed lips. Snug fit!

Feeds my 6.5mm's nicely.

What rifle ? what style bottom metal ? AICS style mags ?
-
It's just the Magpul AICS style PMAG...nothing new and been out for a while now. Comes in 5 and 10 round capacities...we've been using them with PT&G bottom metals for a while now but have never had a reason to trim them

Sorry guys. Yes, as stated, just an AICS mag No bottom metal. Custom built rifle in MDT TAC21 chassis. The 5 rounder has been out for "awhile", but the 10 rounder has only been available, to the public, for about a month or 2.(I know, because I've been watching it at every known parts supplier online). I'm sure many have used these mags without having to trim them, but I assure you, I did. (Not my first RODEO!) I was surprised, as I have been using Pmags since they first became available, and never had to trim any! Even the 1st gens that so many were complaining about jamming in this AR, or that AR.. I had them in several of my builds and not one magazine related malfunction. Ever! I don't know, maybe that's the difference between buying at the gun store, and building your own.
Here is my latest build. You can see more about it, in the "My Build Thread" forum.
