Misplaced thread on Savage Model 99E .308 serial #B772xxx

Oops. I just joined and put my first thread on the wrong forum. This is where it probably belongs. I was wanting to know when it was made. There is a letter J on the left front of the reciever just in front of and below "Savage" and Model 99E just to the left of the scope base. The right of the barrel just in front of the reciever is marked 67. I would guess that this could be the year of manufacture. Hopefully someone can tell me if this is correct, or, if incorrect, when it was made. Metal finish and bore are extremely nice at about 98%. The metal shows no signs of refinishing with crisp, sharp surfaces and lettering. Does anyone have even a very rough idea of value?
