• New Precision Series Rifles From Savage Arms Unveiled



    This past weekend at the 2019 GAP Grind PRS match in Tennessee, Savage Arms unveiled a trio of new precisions rifles - one being a centerfire rifle and the other two being rimfire rifles. All three new models are geared specifically towards PRS/NRL factory class shooters and feature Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) chassis'.


    The sole centerfire rifle in this new Precision Series is the model 110 Elite Precision which will have an MSRP starting at $1999. The 110 Elite Precision will feature a blueprinted 110 Target action with black-nitride finish and a gold-tone, titanium-nitrided bolt body. The fully adjustable MDT AAC chassis will feature an ARCA rail along the entire forearm, MDT Vertical Grip and AICS magazine compatibility. Naturally it will feature an AccuTrigger with an adjustable pull range of 1.5 to 4-lbs. (Varmint version), and out front the barrel will feature a self-timing, taper-aligned muzzle brake to help manage muzzle jump and recoil.



    The 110 Elite Precision will be offered in eight (8) chamberings at two price points. .223 Remington, .308 Winchester, 6mm and 6.5 Creedmoor models will retail for $1,999 while those chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Norma, .300 PRC and .338 Lapua Magnum will retail for $2,149.








    The new A22 Precision Series rimfire features Savage Arms popular A22 delayed blow-back semi-auto action. Configured specifically for the NRL22 rimfire series, this compact auto-loader comes equipped with a custom MDT chassis similar to the featuring an adjustable length-of-pull, an oversized charging handle, and weights in at 7.28 pounds. Savage Arms describes the new A22 Precision as “the showcase to Savage’s love affair with the .22 LR.” The A22 Precision will be available in .22 LR with a retail price of $599.




    The new B22 Precision Series bolt-action rimfire rifle will feature and MDT aluminum chassis that adjusts for both length of pull and comb height. The rifle will ship with an 18-inch heavy contour barrel with threaded muzzle, picatinney rail, and of course Savage's highly regarded AccuTrigger. The B22 Precision Series will be offered in three chamberings: 22LR, .22 WMR and .17 HMR with an MSRP of $599.
