    Action screw lengths:

    Short set...used on "F"(tupperware stocks)
    front-1.100"
    rear-1.510"

    Long set...used on "G" and "B" (birch and laminated stocks)
    front-1.170"
    rear-1.570"

    Some of the later VLP stocks used the shorter front screw (1.1.00")

      How many action screws do I need for the 18637 action (dual port, single shot, 3.4 spacing)?

      For my 2017, Model 10 FCP-SR, AccuStock the front screw from the factory was about 5/8" (.625) and barely captured 1.5 threads. Being fearful of it striping out, I cut down a longer (Non-Savage) screw I had on hand. It is now 0.75" and could be slightly longer, but the bolt head would definitely hang up on a 1.1" screw.
