    Browse through the optics section of any popular message board or forum and you'll quickly see that the most frequent question being asked is "Is Scope X any good?" Now read through the replies and you will see a number of comments from people claiming that it's either great or horrible. However, not one person mentions what they are comparing Scope X to. Scope X is great in comparison to what? Scope X is horrible in comparison to what? Simply stating an option on something without a direct comparison to something else and providing no technical data to back it up doesn't tell us anything.
