I like the way a R-700VLS rifle balances out. Gander Mountain doesn't have a VLP in stock.
The 26" fluted barrel might balance about the same as the 24" Rem barrel. Has anyone compared them?
I might ask Savage about putting a .243 barrel on a 12 VLP DBM LH rifle.
Or put a predator 243 barrel on the above rifle or a LH tactical model. I don't have any idea how the 22" barrel would look or balance in either rifle. Are the barrels the same diameter? Anyone tried it?
