I tried it and didn't get near the velocity I could get with anything else. The case was pretty much full up into the neck. MR2000 from alliant is much better.
Superformance worked great in my 22-250's though. I think it has a really limited use,as there is not much recommended load data.

Here is the link to the thread I posted some data in on 22/250 and .308.

If you look through the load data from Hodgdon and Hornady for that powder, they only recommend it for a small number of cartridges and a single bullet weight or two within each of those cartridges.

It's a very limited use powder. To derive any benefit from it you need to have pretty much exactly the right capacity and expansion ratio. In the combinations that it works, it works well.

What bullet and weight are you thinking of using? I'm having great success with Varget and my 185 gr. Berger's. I'm going to try RL15 next...as I had read that RL 15 might be less lot to lot and temp. sensitive.

Good Luck,

The only thing miraculous about that powder, is the amount of hype.
In my FP, Win 748 will out push that stuff and not have pressure issues. I find superformance a little paticular to spring weather in the Columbia Basin.
Only trouble with the 748, my Chronograph rarely has to read different numbers ;D ;D ;D
