308 internal magazine for long action?

Do they make a 308 internal box magazine that will fit my long action Savage 110? Rifle is currently set up for 30-06.

They use the same box mag but insert a spacer to make it 308 length.

So do I just need a follower, spring and internals? Where can I get these? If that's the case, I really have no need for a short action Savage. I don't care about throw length. I looked on Brownell's and Midway, but can't seem to find anything.

You might be able to go to the Savage website and find what you need in the parts store
The only problem is that you have to give the serial number of your rifle and it automatically pulls up that specific model, so if you need a different magazine than the original the problem arises

Really? Okay, I'll try some tonight. I just figured there would be too much play in magazine and shift fore and aft. I'll give it a shot.
