View Full Version : Switching Accu-Trigger from one gun to another?

I am working on a Semi-Custom build (Savage 116 300 Win Mag) and it is a pre-Accutrigger model. I have a Savage 10 in 7mm-08 that has the accutrigger but I will be using that one for a full blown custom build (action donor) and I was wondering if the trigger from the 7mm-08 will swap over to the 116 being the long/short action difference. Neither rifle is accu-stock or J-bolt or any other oddball thing.

"The trigger cutouts are different so you can't install an Accutrigger in the older receiver without having some milling done to the receiver".
