My 5' 3" 110-Lb. daughter finally talked me out of my 110C (in .300 Win Mag, no less.) She loves shooting it. My wife doesn't. I'm not wild about the recoil, myself. It's plenty accurate, but it kicks worse than any magnum I've ever owned, including a Weatherby Vanguard in .300 Weatherby. So my daughter paid me for it, and I am working part time right now, I am considering replacing it with an Axis, probably in .243. What I got for the 110C will cover the new rifle, and a halfway decent scope. My LGS says they can order me one for $289.

That is what I paid for the .243W youth model I bought for my nephew. They are a basic "no-frills" deer rifle. If that is all you want then you should be happy with it.

My 12 year old daughter loves her A15 but my A10 even more. I haven't let he shoot my Savage Edge in 308 yet, I think the recoil would knock her over. Nothing gives a girl confidence like controling large weapons.

>now the question is 7mm-08 vs. .243. Is there a noticeable difference in recoil?
