I don't know if this has been posted before but here is a pretty good piece on the Model 200. Detailed trigger adjustments are near the bottom. I was glad I stumbled across it and thought it might help someone a bit. http://www.gunreports.com/special_reports/long_guns/Stevens-Model-200-Rifle178-1.html

The trouble is that the Stevens 200 did not come with that trigger, ever. That is the so-called 3-screw trigger that used to come on the varmint and tactical Savages of the last pre-Accutrigger models. My 1960s 110CL sporter had one from the factory. I recently bought two of them off Jim Briggs at Northland. I installed the second one on my son's Stevens just this week. Great hunting trigger-3# and so creep or overtravel.

I got lucky, my Stevens 200 came with the 3 screw trigger. Sear & overtravel holes were filed with plastic though. I just heated the plastic and pushed the plastic out. :)
