I really need a scope for a shooter of a rifle I have but I'm tight on funds right now. I have been looking at a Burris fullfield around $300 or a Redfield. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Natchez still has a number of Nitrex TR1 scopes left:

I ordered the 6-20x50 model for $200. Pretty good price for Japanese glass. I'm pretty happy with the purchase so far. The only real down side that I can find is the limited internal adjustment (around 36 moa if i remember correctly). It will be fine for 500 yards and close but to get our further you'll need some help (20 moa base or zee rings.. or both).

I posted a couple of photos to this thread:

All suggestions mentioned thus far are good ones to choose from. I'll throw in another one that often gets overlooked for some reason. Take a look at the Swift Premiers. They're very reasonably priced, durable, and have good glass for the money. They're made in Korea but claim to have American made glass in them that's fully multi-coated. One of their reps told me once that all of their premiers have a minimum of 50 moa adjustment range and a lot of them have more. I have several of them and will definitely be buying more. Nikon Buckmasters is always a good choice in that price range too.

Keep an eye on the classifieds of various forums. There are a lot of great deals on used scopes, often with rings, out there.

Vortex Crossfire!
They are on several of my hunting rifles. Some of the best money I've spent.
