Anybody have any reviews for the bolt knob? I'm thinking about ordering one for my new build. Are you satisfied with it or would you get another one?

Last one I saw was going for $65 + shipping. Ouch. I personally liked the look but not the cost. My friends cousin had a 110BA and the handle felt good, but as I suspected he said with the trigger at the lower settings it would "lock up" the accu-trigger pretty easy.

Help me out here.
I dont understand the advantage of the giant oversized knurled bolt handle.
My favorite bolt handle is on a 12BVSS. It's smooth, round and I can easily roll the handle in my palm when working the action.

bgc,

I hear ya about the knurling. The only time I have found that the knurling would be handy for me is when wearing gloves. My favorite is the large handle completely smooth. I like the added length and diameter for target work but also I have found it quite helpful in aquisition when a quick follow up shot is needed in the field.

I personally didn't care for the high price tag on the Savage 110BA handle so i made my own designs.

Close up of the Smooth ones below, I prefer the hollow one myself

Below is the one I made for my new 6BR installed.

I just went with the philosophy "if you don't like whats available, make what you want."

the advantage of the long tactical bolt is so you can work it faster without interferring with the scope.

I really like the hollow one you made.
