best barrel nut wrench

I would like to find out what is the best barrel nut wrench available? I would like to buy a good quality wrench and only cry once!

You have to be carefull on wrenches, just because they fit don't mean they will hold up. Over the years I have seen many complaints that the teeth have sheared off on cheaper wrenches. I can say my wrench has been well used and shows not sign of teeth problems. I can say one thing from visiting SSS, they one have one wrench that they use in the shop, it has taken apart and assembled literally thousands of rifles, they are still using the one wrench they started with, it has many dings in the side from being hit with a hammer, and it is the exact same wrench you buy from them. If that doesn't speak of a track record I don't know what does.

In other words it is like compairing a Craftsman tool to a ching chang chong drop forged tool made in China. Yes they look similar, but they are night and day different. You get what you pay for.

There is an advantage to the nut wrench with the square hole in them.

You can put a 1/2 in socket wrench in that hole and get a lot more leverage, plus have something to actually hold on to.

There is no need to hit it with a hammer if you have the leverage.

Exactly. That's why I got the one from E Arthur Brown. It has the holes in it to put a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar in it for extra leverage. I've used it quite a bit too and it has been tough and held up well so far.
