View Full Version : 110 Bolt Disasembly

Looking to take apart my 110 bolt,Dont have a manual on it can anyone help with the take down of it?

Put an allen wrench in the BAS (the screw that holds the bolt handle on). Put the whole thing on the floor then step on it.

Once the BAS is off, you can slide the cocking sleeve up. Take the cocking pin out. Then the whole firing pin assembly can come out. Then you can take the bolt head retaining pin out. Lastly the bolt head should slide out of the bolt body.

That's about it.

I just did this for the first time not to long ago as well. The hardest part is replacing the BAS when reassembling the bolt you have to push fairly hard to get it started into the threads but once its started it screws right on. There is also a couple of videos someone on here should be able to point you to that will help a ton. Try a search for them.

To make installing the BAS easier, make sure the FP is uncocked and start the BAS a few threads and then cock the FP so you don't have to fight with it when the BAS is tightened down.
