Try RE-15, Varget and 4064 powders, they work well with the 308. I'm assuming you have the 1 in 10 twist so bullet weights up to 190 grain should shoot well in your carbine. I hesitate to mention specific loads because what works well in my rifle with a 26" barrel may not work in yours.

I have a Model 10 FCP-K that I just fed 168gn. Hornady HPBT match over 44gn. of BL-C(2). A 4 shot group was .215 ctc. I did shoot a 5th shot but, we wont talk about that (flyer). This was in fire formed Winchester brass that I neck sized only. I am waiting for my chrony, so for now there isn't any velocity measurements. I plan on continuing the use of this load for a while, particularly to see how it does as the temp goes up. Initial testing was done on a 55 degree day.

I have the exact rifle you do and RL-15, IMR 4064 and Ramshot Tac shoot very well at 42- 42.5 grains about 15 thou. off the lands. If I were limited to one powder RL-15 would be my first choice with any bullet 168-180. It's the most consistent in accuracy out to 500 yds. Produces less flyers that were not called as compared to the other two powders. TAC shows promise and has delivered one hole groups at 100 and 200 quite often but has tossed some flyers too far out to be acceptable. We use Fed 210 match primers and will be trying Fed 215 match primers in the near future to see if it's an ignition issue

I've had problems in the past with BLC-2 being too temp sensitive if I worked up loads in cool spring weather and then shot them on a hot Georgia summer day. Have you experienced that? Very nice group by the way.
