Nitride the barrel

I might have missed it some place but I recently contacted freedom gun works about getting nitride and Bobby told me to go to MMI. Guess they aren't sending anything out anymore? I would really like to get a barrel done without waiting three months for a batch or paying a $200 minimum batch fee.

well I have a gun under a build from my GS, who melonite's and I believe he's getting ready to send off some barrels and parts soon so if you'd like to contact him for the cost and time frame let me know!

Thread resurrection.

I've searched this thread and online but cannot seem to find an actual answer. Can I send a chromemoly barrel that's been blued already for QPQ? If so do I need to do any sort of prep before sending it off other than cleaning the hell out of the barrel?
