I Just bought one in 300 mag, I'm turning it into a long range shooter. I had a muzzle break installed and am just now working up loads for it. I'm using Berger vld 185 grn and so far it likes them seated at 3.445 coal, and H4831SC. It will put all 3 bullets in the same hole one group, and the next group will have two in one hole and the third about a half inch out. I make sure not to get the barrel to hot and take my time. any body have any ideas why it does this. It does it pretty consistently. thanks

After 2 shsots look to see if the barrel is now touching the stock. If it is close to the barrel channel to begin with, the heat may be just enough to make it touch. Even a light touch will cause problems.
