Need Help with DBM Mag Conversion

I have searched the archives but can't find exactly the answers i'm looking for. I picked up a Mod 111 DBM and it has the side eject mag release button. I'm finding out there aren't any options for stock replacement. So, i was wondering what my options are. Can i convert to a blind magazine staggered or center feed? And what do I need to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Never had one of the side button DBM's, but my understanding of it is that they only came on the SF actions and the new CF has the release on the bottom. That being said, I am almost certain that all you have to do to go from DBM to Blind-mag is just change out the mag box and put in the blind follower. Since your gun should be a SF, yours will be attached to the action.

Of course you'll have to get a stock for a blind mag ;).

You should be able to change out the stock to a staggered feed blind magazine setup. You will need to check that the receiver has the slots cut into it to attach the blind magazine. Since it is currently a detachable magazine, I am not sure if the slots are there. Better check it out.

Great info, thanks guys. I think i can see the slots you're talking about. 2 long slots, 1 on each side that the mag rides in and the current mag has a 90 degree tab on each end.

Those are the ones we are talking about. You should be good to go with zero problems.
